Preschool Admission: 

Admissions for the upcoming school year open each April, with enrollment offers extended to new families by the end of May.

Wait Pool Process
Sunflower Fields Preschool operates with a wait pool rather than a traditional waitlist. This means applications are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Instead, all prospective families are encouraged to submit an application as soon as they are interested. When a spot becomes available, we thoughtfully review all applications in the wait pool and invite selected families for a private visit prior to offering enrollment.

Private Visits & Tours
All tours are scheduled outside of school hours. We’ve reflected on our practices and, in honor of the important work of our students and the focus of our teaching team, we are minimizing interruptions to the school day. This shift allows us to remain fully present with our current students while still welcoming prospective families in a meaningful way.

Age Requirements
Children are generally required to be at least 3 years old to enroll at Sunflower Fields. However, we have welcomed younger students in the past who demonstrated readiness and the ability to participate in our daily rhythm and expectations. If you feel your child is a good fit, we encourage you to apply.

Enrollment Considerations
The Director reserves the right to recommend reapplication at a later time based on individual child readiness, program fit, or enrollment timing.
